CCDS is currently seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our team in the Information Technology and Services industry. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing network security technologies to safeguard our clients' infrastructure from cyber attacks. You will also ensure compliance with industry standards while providing superior service to our customers. Responsibilities
- Design and implement network security measures and architectures
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and standards
- Monitor network traffic to identify suspicious activity or events
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and other security technologies
- Serve as a technical point person for network security inquiries
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and remediation efforts
- Recommend security enhancements for clients

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security engineering
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security areas and threats
- Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) tools
- Certifications preferred CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, CISA, CISM, and/or CCSK
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
