Armis is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our R&D Operations team.
Responsibilities:
R&D Operations:
- Define and enforce best practices and standards for the production environments operations.
- Establish continuous improvement as part of the culture, processes and tools.
- Gather and provide analytics of system data and trends.
- Execute routines that keep the R&D running.
- Defining communication standards, communication processes with other interfaces at Armis.
- Identify problems by observing and studying system functions and performance results.
- Maintain a crisis management plan that outlines roles, responsibilities and procedures for responding to various types of incidents.
- Activate the crisis management plan and lead the response efforts when it occurs.
Release management:
- Release Planning & Delivery - Defining and implementing the best practices and tools of quarterly planning.
- Develop project schedules and track progress.
- Ensure RnD Projects are completed within scope and timeline
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Coordinate and communicate with team members, stakeholders, and other departments.
- Conduct release planning meetings, status updates and post release retrospectives.
- Ensure that release related information such as release notes, documentation are accurate, up to date and readily accessible.
- Special R&D efforts project management and cross company task forces.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in release management or project management
- Proven experience in coordinating cross functional teams.
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining global production environments.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and release management best practices.
- Understanding of the development and maintenance of SaaS products.
- Jira admin expert.
- Fluent in English - writing and speaking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and resolve release related issues, risks and conflicts.
- High emotional intelligence to manage the stress, and resilience and adaptability to cope with high pressure situations.
- Working in dockerized environments - an advantage.
- Understanding and experience managing cloud-based platforms such as AWS - an advantage.
- Understanding of queue management concepts (Rabbitmq and Kafka preferred) - an advantage.
