MET (Middle East and Turkey) HC R&D Team is looking for an individual with experience in formulation development to work in U-House located in Umraniye. This is an exciting opportunity designed under the hybrid approach, which offers individuals to work with product development in a more holistic end-to-end approach. You will be working to big, local, powder detergent brands such as OMO, Rinso and Surf.
Key Accountabilities:
- Conducting&coordinating required product development studies for innovations, cost improvement and regulatory requirements projects in line with consumers and business needs.
- Raw material selection and approval studies according to product development and business needs.
- Planning, coordinating & leading lab works of his/her projects.
- Following and understanding of new products and technologies in markets.
- Technical management of innovation and cost saving projects, attending required meetings with cross functional teams(local, regional and global), representing R&D for the projects under her/his reponsibilities..
- Calculating and evaluating of cost structure of existing and new products.
- Providing necessary information into systems which is required for project management.
- Providing required formulation related technical input for artwork development studies of products for both in-house and 3PM manufacturing projects.
- Ensuring new raw materials and new product specifications development on system.
- Being responsible products are developed as per the set of rules of Unilever Consumer& Environment Safety Management System and local regulatory requirements.
- Follow local regulatory requirements and ensure PSDS preparation for new products.
- Support Complexity Managements and Supply Chain Support Studies.
- Conducting competitor technical understanding studies.
- Following up of innovation budget under his/her responsibility.
- Preparing required technical reports, training documents and share them with relevant functions.
The candidates should possess:
- Graduate from Faculty of Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Food Engineering
- Excellence in analytical thinking & creativity
- Having strong communication skills
- Fluent in English (both writing & speaking)
- Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills and data driven approach.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Having a “Can Do” attitude and result oriented mindset.
- Preferably no military obligation for male candidates
- Experience in FMCG product development area is preferred.
