About the job and the team
Within our Service Laboratory we are looking for a Coordinator Dyes and Chemicals. In this position you will maintain the dyestuff and chemicals database. You will coordinate the process and the information supply regarding the Vlisco chemicals and dyestuff. They are needed for our Vlisco fabrics.
What you will be doing
As the D&C Coordinator you are responsible for giving advice on the usage, application and specifications of the chemicals within the Vlisco group (Africa and Netherlands), based on the analysis of the managed information.
Manage the information through analysis, structuring and registration. For example specifications, research results and safety information sheets. You keep the information up to date and accessible to the authorised persons.- Coordinating the release process of new chemicals. Keeping track of all research related to the chemicals,
- Function as the contact person for the key stakeholders within the Vlisco group regarding chemicals.
- Internally and at suppliers, actively search for information and manage the database of the chemicals.
- Improve the internal structures and information sources by actively improving these information streams. Document the work methods in the processes, procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain the Health and Safety software Excess with the chemical information received for suppliers.
What are we looking for
- Bachelor level of thinking (chemical knowledge) with a relevant education.
- A pro-active mindset and not afraid to take initiative.
- Experience in chemicals, chemical safety and administrative work.
- You are client-oriented, team worker and accurate.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
