Job Purpose
The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably and competent individual to render a verification and data capturing service to the office of the Mechanical Workshop. This post is stationed in Belville.
Minimum Requirements

Key Performance Areas
Capture data from available records into the required formats e.g. databases, table, spreadsheet; Verify query missing data and errors observed during data entry; Review and validate all data from the records; Submit data; Make regular backups of data; Update registers and statistics; Keep and maintain records and files; Ensure records and files are properly sorted and secured; Provide information to components .
Competencies
A good understanding of appropriate computerised systems and packages; A basic knowledge of spreadsheets and databases; Proven computer literacy (MS Office). Skills in the following: Communication (verbal and written); Numeracy and literacy; Planning and organising; Flexibility; Ability to work part of a team and independently.
Remuneration
R 171 537 per annum (Salary level 4)
