What You Will Be Doing
- Development and implementation of project plans (project scope and objectives, schedules, costs, resources, risks and opportunities, quality, communication, procurement).
- Lead and coordinate project execution with multicultural technical sub-project teams in the Intelligent Mobility & Software domain (e.g. for embedded software, ADAS/AD, electrical engineering, infotainment)
- Ensure all project/customer deliverables, cost, schedule and quality targets are met with good return value
- Manage project budget (cost planning, invoicing).
- Liaison with FEV senior management, customers and suppliers (kick-off, steering meetings) to ensure project delivery meets project/customer/FEV expectations
- Application and support of FEV project management processes and tools
- Preparation and presentation of project status
- Apply "lessons learned" methods and quality checks and find solutions to problems
- Integration/mapping of customer's processes, methods and tools into FEV's methods and tools landscape
- Identify and track project complaints, grievances, and requests for project changes
- Build trust and healthy relationships with customers and partners (internal, suppliers)
- A degree (bachelor's or master's) in the field of engineering sciences
- Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle in the automotive industry (systems engineering, functional and software architecture, software development, integration, testing, industrialization)
- Good knowledge of ASPICE or CMMI development guidelines
- Experience in multicultural environments, management and leadership of international teams
- Experience interacting with customers
- Experience with and/or open-mindedness towards alternative project organizations (e.g., Agile) and methodologies/tools, such as Kanban board, Scrum, stand-up meetings
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of management (internal and external)
- Willingness to travel
- Ability and willingness to support and guide project stakeholders on technical issues, especially related to FEV.io solutions and core competencies
- A positive "can do" attitude
- A positive mindset, encouraging others and sharing his or her knowledge with all cross-functional teams and the FEV.io project community
- En: B2 – Upper Intermediate
