Job summary
The position, within TS-PPM, will work closely with Translational Science (TS), Translational Platforms, Clinical Biomarker and other cross-functional teams to map out feasible management process of Translational Science and Translational Platforms, establish governance structures and ensure efficient executions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead to establishing the Translational Science and Translational Platforms governance structures and achieving alignments of all key stakeholders. Lead the execution with suitable communication strategy.
- Lead the planning of department or cross-functional review meetings, host the meetings and proactively support follow-up activities in a timely manner.
- Support TS Project Teams to align on goals, path forward, position, etc., help collect relevant info., thus facilitate the decision-making of management teams or Committees.
- Lead or support preclinical TS program management, including but limited to regular program updates via multiple formats (e.g. meetings, reports, briefing emails), resource management, budget management, risk management, etc.
- Lead or support the implementation of department strategies as aligned with management teams, including but not limited to Translational Science Strategies, Translational Platforms Strategies, etc.
- Continuously monitor and improve above processes.
Qualification Required:
Qualification required
- PhD in Immunology, Cancer Biology, Pharmacology, or relevant disciplines from first tier universities, 3+ years’ experience in a translational research setting or an early clinical development setting.
- Demonstrated scientific expertise within translational research or drug development, such as good track record of publications & patents and/or proposed projects.
- Demonstrated project portfolio management experiences across a global matrix organization; ability to influence and communicate with peer colleagues and senior managers following a clear logical flow; ability to distil out key issues in complex problems, highly effective in reducing complexity and proactive in mapping out potential solutions or path forward.
- Critical thinking, results driven, a great team player.
- Fluent in written and verbal English.
- A PMP certificate or experience of business negotiation is a plus.
